One month after winning the Hashim Khan Invitational in Denver, Natarsha McElhinny & Meredeth Quick captured their second WSDA Tour title this weekend—the $25,000 John’s Island Open at John’s Island Club on the east coast of Florida.
Narelle Krizek will face her sister, Natarsha McElhinny in the John’s Island final today after Krizek put on a master class in right wall play for her semi final match. Krizek, who reunited with her former partner Suzie Pierrepont for the event, dominated the court to defeat top seeds Dana Betts and Stephanie Hewitt.
#2 seeds Meredith Quick and Natarsha McElhinny held off a strong challenge from #4 seeds Tina Rix and Fernanda Rocha to reach the final, winning 3-0, following their nail bitting first round win over Stoker/Milanek.

Meredith Quick delighted the home crowd with a win at the Hashim Khan Invitational. Quick, who grew up playing at the Denver Athletic Club partnered with Natarsha McElhinny to beat the first time paring of Pierrepont/Rix in the final.

The 2016 Hashim Khan Invitational kicks off on Friday March 11th, at the Denver Athletic Club in downtown Denver, CO. The invitational event features World #1 Dana Betts, World #3 Natarsha McElhinny and current World Champion Suzie Pierrepont. This long standing event benefits the urban program, Impact360 previously known as MileHigh Squash.

USA super star Amanda Sobhy has become the first ever American born player to make the final of a PSA Super Series event. Supporting Amanda in her victory at the JP Morgan Tournament of Champions in Grand Central Terminal Sobhy was team USA’s Natalie Grainger, former TOC Champion. Sobhy over came #1 seed Raneem El Welily in the round of 16 before going to beat Alison Waters and Nouran Gohar to reach the final.
